out and back from Cooks to the path in O'Neil before meeting the crew. I have not been back there for years...maybe 2009 xterra training? Steeper than I remember and beautiful. Just cruz mode and really enjoying running. Walked some steeper extended sections. Went back for my shirt and then TT'd back to the car the last few miles.

Long day on the bike with a great crew. Lots of stops (overall time 7hrs?) but easy riding most of the time with a few efforts on the climbs between flats and the end of the trip up to both peaks.

Harding > 4 corners > Q and me added the bump and grind up Mojeska peak > Santiago Peak > Upper/Lower HJ - canyon back to cooks.

Cant remember the last time I was back there and really had a good time hanging with everyone. Fabi, Erin, Z, Q, Nick, Scooter, Gary, Pete. No major crashes and most of them first time back there.

Going to be a hot one out today! Clear sky and calling for 80's this weekend.

Chill ride in the hot heat down to BR to chat with John about Australia, bike and babies. LTD. Got the standard fuel from CCBon and rolled home - just listening to audio books and enjoying the day

Long lazy morning and into calls from 7:30 on. Got in for some 50's and 100's (dying) before Z, Erin and NIKO swim session.

Did 2 sets of upper body push/pull and then some leg press, bar squats, DB box step ups and core. Stuff and movements I don't usually do.

Crystal Lake with the bro crew. Yes!

First time on the S2 and very happy I had the extra gears. Felt ok and legs not too bad after last night. Got started behind the crew a bit and ended up riding with Mike and Max to the top...falling off a little after ~1:15 but glad i stuck with it. Perfect day out and so stoked to ride with everyone. Last two rides and run in bomber have been FUN!

Finn's first of many over 6,000ft.

Behind the group down and my neck will be more sore than my legs from the double take I did checking Scooter closing in on Max and me while I was redlining taking pulls heading back. I have not pushed that hard in a long, long time. Scooter crushed our dreams and we took some pulls all the way back before watching the tractors push boulders over the cliff. So glad I took a PTO and pretty much a perfect day.

Night ride up STT and to old camp hitting some redline trying to hold Keevins wheel. :40/1:15 flag/old camp. fat and happy

Trails are the best i have ever seen them. Tacky, wet but not muddy and green overflow making the 1track tight and FUN! Faded at the hour mark but good to take some deep breaths. Beautiful night out. Riding bikes in the dirt with the bros

Ran backbay after a little of a crazy stress morning at work. Overbooking myself. Breakfast at Newport place w/ family and then webex from car while M walked/ran w/ Finn. Then ran down to the end of the trails in BB and met family and eased into a run - added 5 short hill repeats at far south side then ran up to Jamboree just steady fast cruz. Felt so good to run! Shin is ok and didnt bother me. Really focusing on form and foot, high knees, hips driven. Pace and turnover is there and not really a fade at 60min.

Good run out from Bomber up Turtle blocks to the top of the switchbacks and back with the boys(K, NKIO and Eric). Ground was wet and spongy...fun!
