Felt pretty good but very stoked shin was never an issue. Did a lot of rolling and stretching last night. Maybe tight from the extra calf workouts? All good.

Ran 6.5 at just over marathon effort, walk/stretch, then another ~5mi the same before cool down and time kill. Great long run and felt just a fade but form is great at speed. It's the slow slop/ultra shuffle that's dropping off.

TT rolling down to Carlsbad with Nick. Legs still jacked and every little climb (as Nick pulled away) I needed to stop pedaling to stop the burn and dead leg. Otherwise feeling ok but R shin sore like splints. Interesting it started with getting back on the TT this week. Anyways stoked for a fun weekend!

Legs still detonated and exhusted from a big week of stress. Got out at sunset/dark on Aliso path with M&F pushing Finn at the end for just a bit. No watch. Felt ok otherwise.

Set alarm for PM so slept in a bit but needed it. Good morning with the fam then rode to Marshall exploring some new trails and took baseline/village back - checking out the pool and track tails.

Legs wrecked from last night and major DOMS today. Climbing ok but one gear. Planned on Sunset route but this will do for today.

Thompson creek while M pushed F. Amazing sunset against the mountains on the way up and orange/red glow on the way down. Looped Mills lot from Townes - no watch. Felt really good esp considering the lack of sleep, weights and stress. Felt better after swim and way better after run.
