orienteering 15:00 [2] 1.8 km (8:20 / km)

A contour only exercise. I found it challenging but at a walking pace I found it pretty good :) Most things were matching up but when it came down to the really intricate sqiggles that confused me. A nice walked warm up :)

orienteering 1:00:53 [4] 3.4 km (17:54 / km)

Erghh is my overall feeling of this exercise. This one was focusing on long legs. I originally thought I was going to find it alright but tiredness and a whopping headache was making it increasingly difficult to plan and execute my route. I ended up at 2 when I thought I was on 1 and because there were no number relating on the stand I didn't know. So I punched fairly happy that I'd reached it to go off to control 2 and of course it was no where to be seen. Anyway so I decided to head to control 3 because this was afterall an exercise focusing on long legs. I made a plan but didn't reach my mini controls but fortunately had a few stragglers trying to get there too to help me :)

orienteering race 18:21 [5] 1.5 km (12:14 / km)

Sprint 1:5000 map on a rocky part of the map. Oh this was fantastic! With Victorian and NSW people sprinting everywhere the feeling was enticing and exciting! I did loose contact at one stage and ran to the wrong rock while trying to keep up with people. So that's a lesson to not get distracted! Loved it!

orienteering 26:00 [3] 4.0 km (6:30 / km)

Wagga Charles Sturt University Intervals :D I was in a group with Nicola and Michele and had a blast. We were on interval times of 9 minutes so we ran as hard as possible then got the rest of the 9 minutes that was left. I found the navigation pretty easy and my aim was to be navigating on the go, to think ahead and plan my next route.I wished we could've done more because that was my most favourite activity of the camp :D
