Few laps of the track watching the 800m and some other races. Then a very poor attempt at some drills and stretches.

Midlands Athletics League 3000m Steeple Chase.
Legs felt quite good which was a bot of a surprise considering how terrible they have been feeling for the last week. Stoke is one of the weird tracks where the water jump is on the outside of the track so we started very close to the first barrier but this was enough time for me to remeber I hadn't done a steeple chase for 5 years and that I had forgotten how to jump a barrier.
Rest of the race went ok and was hurdling well and I was leading for most of the race but a guy from Birchfield came passed just after 300m to go and I couldn't stick with him. Fairly happy with the time and pretty good result for my first outdoor track race in a few years.
