Conditions were strangely hostile and quite good at the same time. Road conditions were better then summer. All the rain washed off the dirt then it froze and with the snow created a smooth coat that filled the cracks and bumps of the road as well as creating an easily gripped surface for the tires. Strong wind and face burning particles of snow was not so nice though.
3x6 min intervals. 3 min breaks. Ran with Robbie. Fealt as though I was building up more lactic acid with 6 minute intervals compaired to the previous shorter sessions.
Carlington Hill with Emily. Few, man that was tough. Glad I went though. 8 repetitions, 2 min each. By #5 I was getting worried I wasn't going to make it but luckily Emily made an executive decission to extend our rest time for another 30 seconds. Summoned the strength of 5 runners on the final repetition and burned up the hill.
