Orienteering race (Sprint) 12:21 [5] 1.8 km (6:52 / km) +50m 6:01 / km

I loved this just felt proactive rather than reactive I was way more relaxed before it and Toni took me round the warm up map and everything on it seemed right and I flowed well. Still made an error on number two and number 12 wasn't quite with it.
My aim was to be proactive and to look at all control descriptions and I was both for 80% of my race so I'm pleased.

Orienteering warm up/down 25:00 [2]

Jogged round the warm up map with Toni and got into it really nicely she had some really good points to make which made sense to me.
Then did high intensity drills some stretching and strides before entering start lane.
Jogged around when I finished trying to warm down.

Orienteering race 34:00 [4] 3.3 km (10:18 / km) +190m 8:00 / km

Relay was waaaaay more pleased with this run still things I would have changed and improved but a more solid run less mistakes.
Things I would have changed would have been to stick with the pack and to push harder.

Orienteering warm up/down 25:00 [1]

spent time jogging before relay and doing drills then in time whilst waiting for jet to come trough jogging round arena and just trying to keep nerves down.
Then warm down afterwards too.

Orienteering race 1:32:12 [4] 5.5 km (16:46 / km) +320m 12:59 / km

This performance was not what I wanted however I did survive my first time in a GBR top! I will put the map up soon and the analysis. But I was soooo frustrated when I finished but after two better races I feel better about it and there are good things like I started off very well a little slow to one but up to four I was very happy, I needed better map contact in this kind of continental terrain, I have experienced first quarantine!, I didn't give up even when I ended up back at the start, I recovered from the mistake and didn't so the rest too badly, I was pleased with my route choices.

Orienteering warm up/down 20:00 [2]

Warm up before race of jog, drills and jog round warm up map, think I should have done this before drills but never mind.

Stretching 10:00 [1]

I didn't warm down but I did stretch in the evening.

Did some sprint practice around Kapaonik just ran a few legs head to head with jet. Short but high intensity.

Orienteering 10:00 [2]

Walked round kapoanik with sprint map identifying bits and pieces in the model event which could be difficult and just seeing/thinking about the change from forest to urban sprint.
