Cycling 1:15:00 intensity: (20:00 @2) + (30:00 @3) + (25:00 @4)

Went to Sport Hallam gym who very nicely let me in to the CV gym. So while everyone else went on a long run I did 10 minutes warm up on the cross training 55 minutes on the bike doing a mix of things: keeping heart rate about 155 and standing in the seat and really powering it. Then 10 minute cool down.

Core and Running 50:00 [2]

Drills session with Kelly attempted and managed most trying to ignore my foot.
Really have to make sure I concentrate on good technique and quick feet when I get proficient at the technique. Am going to try practicing good arms.

Core 50:00 [1]

Med ball workout with Elle went through some well know and some new exercises to try with the med ball. Interesting and a good workout shall take into the gym next few weeks especially as getting core into shape.

Went out for a cycle up a valley to the peak district and roud burbage moor and back into Sheffield. Was a beautiful day sunny but pretty windy (could feel it slowing me as I was descending!) Just enjoyed being out in the moor and the two hours went past very quickly. Tried clip in pedals for the first time and they are so good up hills love them. Unfortunately got a puncture on the edge of Sheffield and had to walk 40 minutes back...

Swimming 35:00 [3]

Almost didn't get up and got his morning just not feeling it but enjoyed do the session and think I'll just give the gym a miss this afternoon.
6 lengths breast stroke
20 lengths frontcrawl
10 lengths alternating front crawl and breast stroke really going for it on the front crawl.
10 lengths kick.

10 min warm up
4 minutes with 1 minute rest *8
10 minute cool down.

Cycling 27:00 intensity: (5:00 @2) + (12:00 @3) + (5:00 @4) + (5:00 @5)

Warm up 10 minutes
Then two tabbata 10* 20 seconds on 10 seconds off with a 2 minute gap
5 min easier after.

Strength and Conditioning 50:00 [3]

Warm up exercises
Then the circuit I have been doing 9 stations 3 times.
Still finding it hard to get properly parallel in the squat.

Swimming 30:00 [2]

10 Breast Stroke
40 Front Crawl
Foot still sore the walk on and all the work the physio did yesterday has just made it hurt a lot though I am old in the long run it will help. Still no idea what the actual problem is.
