Orienteering race 1:28:00 [2]
shoes: Falcon

I was so bushed from what amounted to a week's worth of exertion in a single day, that I debated not going out at all. In the end, I ran down to Brown, where I had a mixture of good results reading the map and terrain with facile self-delusion and poor contact management. I found myself once again at the junction of the mapped and unmapped trail. (which was still not marked, even though they could have made course corrections or setter's notes.) This time, however, I knew there was a large pond 200m south, so I went the wrong direction to relocate, then came back to the junction confident of which way to go.

Pawtuckaway is a tricky, tricky place.
