Sunday Feb 3

Cycling 3:05:37 [2] 20.0 mi (9:16 / mi)
ahr:144 shoes: BA5
Plourde to Tatnuck to June St and back, past the reservoir. With the Gang. Nice temps, sun actually came out toward the end. Took 3 Gu's, but still felt underfueled. 40oz water was *just* enough, plus 1 Succeed! tablet. Equally achey all over. Yesterday I felt on the edge of under the weather, but today I feel OK, in spite of not enough sleep last night. Pace was more comfortable than last week's circuit of the Wachusett Reservoir in the snow.

Friday Feb 1

Cycling 40:00 [2] 9.0 mi (4:27 / mi)
ahr:132
Spin while watching "Swordfish".

Thursday Jan 31

Road running 42:03 [2] 5.0 mi (8:25 / mi)
ahr:146 shoes: BA4
MP run. 1 M w/u, then 3.5M @ 8:13, then 0.5 M c/d. Moderate effort. Legs had a bit more snap than yesterday, but noticeably different than "fresh."

Wednesday Jan 30

Road running 20:00 [2] 2.5 mi (7:59 / mi)
shoes: BA5
w/u, c/d, and recovery intervals to speedwork
Road running 10:30 [4] 1.5 mi (7:00 / mi)
ahr:168
3x0.5@8.7mph. Tough. Ate too soon prior. Legs had no snap. Broke out of 2-2 breathing on 2nd rep, so I curtailed the workout.

Tuesday Jan 29

Cycling 1:02:00 [2] 12.0 mi (5:10 / mi)
ahr:117
Spin on trainer while watching 2nd half of "Dr. No" with commentary.

Monday Jan 28

Note
(rest day)
Triceps not so achy today, but quads are pretty trashed. Also quite tired and low on energy. Would probably be a good idea to get to the pool to work out some lactic acid
