| 6x 2M out-and-back around the neighborhood. Susan is in Florida at a conference where it's in the 80's. No ankle discomfort. Some footing slushy.
What is it Peter G says is the key to running lightly in the woods? Never put more than 1/4 of your weight on a foot? I was thinking that this would be a good rule to apply to running through possibly wet snow in order to keep your shoes from getting soaked. |

| Easy run late. After an unseasonably warm day filled with rain, I went out after dinner, temp around 40°. Two layers was enough on my body, but it was not warm enough wearing only a ball cap on my head. My ears got cold.
The seasonal melt of the roadside snowdrifts called to mind the action of the glaciers in the Himalayas. I believe I've read that their constant changes in size, and motion down the slopes, churn up rocks, equipment, even bones. |
