Saturday May 31 | ||
| Walking 50:00 [1] 3.0 mi (16:39 / mi) +100m 9:23 / km | ||
| shoes: Salomon trail shoes | ||
| To and from Daniel's soccer game, by a more direct (and steeper) route than the last time. Intermittent sprinkles.
Thought that by switching shoes I would be able to avoid discomfort on the bunionette, but it twinges in many different styles of shoes. Not on the uphill, though.
Friday May 30 | ||
| Road running 37:05 [2] 4.2 mi (8:49 / mi) | ||
| ahr:138 shoes: BA6 | ||
| Horse loop, moderate pace.
AOWN? Adjacent to the horse farm, I saw a German Shepherd trotting down the opposite side of the street. I tried not to make eye contact, hoping not to distract his jog with thoughts of snacking on me. HRM showed HRmax of 186, but I think that number is not to be trusted.
Thursday May 29 | ||
| Road running 50:43 [2] 5.5 mi (9:13 / mi) | ||
| ahr:138 max:161 shoes: BA7 | ||
| ARRT 5.5 loop. Some benches have been put in -- excellent. Thanked a woman who was collecting trash as she walked. Actually saw some cyclists and walkers today. No wildlife sightings.
Quads feel a bit tired, only a tiny bit of discomfort on the inside of L tibia.
Wednesday May 28 | ||
| Road running 35:44 [1] 3.5 mi (10:13 / mi) | ||
| ahr:133 max:166 weight:165lbs shoes: BA6 | ||
| Across the reservoir and back, very easy pace, just to help get the blood flowing. I feel like there's no snap in my legs, which is pretty good 3 days post marathon. | ||
