Sunday Aug 17

Road running long 2:00:00 [2] 14.0 mi (8:34 / mi)
ahr:154 max:177 shoes: BA7
Cranbrook loop + Reservoir loop with the gang. Nice temps with a bit of a chill in the air. Faster pace than I would have liked, and HR was elevated over where I consider LSD pace, but I was able to speak in complete sentences, so the pace matched at least one criterion for LSD.

Friday Aug 15

Cycling 30:00 [2] 8.0 mi (3:45 / mi)
ahr:129 max:144
Moderate spin on trainer.

Wednesday Aug 13

Road running warm up/down 20:00 [1] 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: BA6
Warmup before, cooldown after the club 5K race.
Road running race 22:17 [5] 5 km (4:27 / km) vdot: 43.9
ahr:167 max:182 shoes: BA6
Did not do any strides beforehand. First mile was run at uneven pace: 1:41 for 0.25, 3:33 at 0.50, 7:10 for the first mile, but, measured by mile, the race was extremely even split.

Mile 1 7:10 (HRave 162)
Mile 2 7:12 (174)
Mile 2.5 3:54 (uphill) (174)
Mile 3 3:26 (slightly downhill) (172)
Last 0.107 0:35 (180)

22:17 is the closest I've been to a PR in a long while.

I won a club tote bag in the random draw. :-)
