Friday Jan 31

Running (warm/cool) 22:00 [2] 2.0 mi (10:59 / mi)
Running (tempo) 10:00 [4] 1.29 mi (7:45 / mi)
Pace a total guess.

Thursday Jan 30

Swimming 1:05:00 [3] 2.2 km (29:33 / km)
Felt good, though 5th decending 200 wasn't exactly the fasted - burned out a little. Andy gets "punished" for not doing flip turns by having to practice swimming around a bouoy. "Since when do you do flip turns?" Hehe.

Wednesday Jan 29

Cycling 1:15:00 [3]
Easy ride w/ 1x Sentinal Peak in the middle. Melissa stayed at the bottom. ;-)

Tuesday Jan 28

Running (easy, w/ pick-ups) 26:00 [2]
5x12 sec pick-ups. "Intensity" of 2 I guess doesn't include the ~60 seconds of picking up. ;-)
Swimming 50:00 [3] 1.8 km (27:47 / km)

Sunday Jan 26

Running 47:00 [3] 4.4 mi (10:40 / mi)
From G-S on 3rd out past Country Club.

Saturday Jan 25

Cycling (time trial) 1:00:00 [5]
I was there for the points. There better not have been lots of ASU women. Proved that running is absolutely not a substitute for riding. Their "20k" course turned up at 13.5 miles for a few of us. Not sure who's right, but it might explain why everyone felt so slow. ~47 min (!!), which is ~8-9 min slower than the last one. Conditions about the same. Solution? Time on bike.

Thursday Jan 23

Running (warm up/cd) 20:00 [3] 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
ahr:170
Running (tempo) 10:00 [4] 1.2 mi (8:20 / mi)
ahr:183
Swimming 35:00 [3]
Easy swim. Did a light group 4.

Wednesday Jan 22

Cycling 50:00 [2]
Easy ride with Melissa.

Sunday Jan 19

Running (half-marathon) 2:10:00 [4] 13.1 mi (9:55 / mi)
San Diego Half Marathon.
Splits: 10:41, 9:15, 9:40, 9:00, 9:48, 9:26, 9:56, 9:52, 9:52, 10:54, 10:17, 10:43, 9:54, 00:49

Thursday Jan 16

Running 20:00 [2] 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
To campus and back.

Tuesday Jan 14

Swimming 1:00:00 [3] 1.6 km (37:30 / km)

Saturday Jan 11

Orienteering 2:15:00 [3] 7.7 km (17:32 / km)
spiked:3/10c (injured)
Bombay Mine with GPHXO. First DNF. Took a big spill after control 5, hurt my knee. Biggest problem was the mental shut-down that occured after that. Made the best parallel error ever (worthy of documenting) which took me from 8 to 10 very directly. Couldn't have been more direct. Ah well, lesson learned.

Wednesday Jan 8

Running 42:39 [3] 4.2 mi (10:09 / mi)
To Country Club and back. Vanilla Bean Gu is not as bad as ClifSHOT "vanilla", but I think chocolate was better. I'm slow. Did 3rd mile in ~9:30 and that was a decent pace. What happened to me? Or maybe these Tucson roads aren't really one mile apart.

Sunday Jan 5

XC Skiing 1:20:00 [3]
Great Brook Farm State Park...basically a perimeter loop.

Thursday Jan 2

Running 26:00 [4] 3.0 mi (8:39 / mi)
Goodmans Hill. 14 min out, 12 min back.
XC Skiing 1:20:00 [2]
Great Brook Farms State Park with mami and Melissa
