| Final Bastrop meet before team selections. First time running in boots and BDUs for me, I scraped my heels raw by control 6. It was also pouring rain, and I stepped on my glasses. This is total time, not including time out for grenade toss. Not too shabby when you consider conditions and additional time for plotting (which is tricky in the rain on plain paper. Biggest errors: 10 min on control 4 and 10-15 min on control 8.
Note: second loop was ~3.8 km, completed in about 45 min. |

| Two "800s", supposed to be run at about 80%. I was totally spent from the morning's work and the whole week buildup. I'm surprised I had any to give on a harder run. I think it was about a 3:45 and a 3:35. |

| Technically an "orange" at Camp Bullis. First half easy nav on an aerial, second half on a 1:25,000. Had a **20** minute error on the second to last control. I sense a trend. Plus, the map was funky around there.
