| Running (road) 22:00 [2] | ||
| shoes: Kayano XI - grey | ||
| Ran down to the 4th Ave Street Fair, late morning. Nice day. (Do I need to write that anymore?) Running was exhausting. We ran down, walked around for a while, looking but not buying (!), and then walked most of the way back. Just a little running at the end. Oy, not good.
Off to unload the car and fill up the storage unit, then back to ABQ. Yesss, I love long drives. By myself. On beautiful days.

| Winged Victory
I have no idea who did it, but I strongly suspect someone closely related to me. ... Okay, so it's gone now, but my sister had added the following text to the "Notes" section: US Air Force Navigator Cristina Shelby Luis was famously nick-named the Winged Victory after she landed an HC-130, on ground, even though its wings had fallen off because the pilot, a fat, greedy Texan, got hungry and really likes wings. She was actually already called Winged Victory for her ability to orienteer without using her head or arms. This is an amazing skill, considering that Cristina Luis is not a robot; she's just *really* good at orienteering. But the airplane story is kind of more exciting, no offense to orienteering (Grass, Speed, Ecstacy).

| Sweet, another run! Felt pretty much like a drugged slug the whole way. And that's even though I feel 75% healthy. Sleep and lingering hacking are the problem, I guess. Once again, crazy high heartrates for moving at a shuffle.
It was nice out, overcast but warm, and started to rain as I was headed back down to my car. It wasn't raining much but it *smelled* like rain, which was awesome. Trying to chill out and be relaxed for my check ride tomorrow night. THE check ride. Not that I'm worried about it. Not at all.
