Skating on the ice next to our house. Just like yesterday Lukas didn't want to wear his skates so Melissa pushed him around a bit on the ice in his boots. I got to shake off some rust.

Training #3, wore studs this time. Wasn't looking forward to 20km in O-Rocs but it was fine and it would not have been possible to run in non-dobbies.

Similar route to training #2 from Movatn to home but with more trails this time. Lots of ice, thanks to a super warm Friday and a cold enough Friday night.

Stopped to stretch my hips briefly at 10km because I felt something on the right side. Felt fine the rest of the way, phew.

Finally registered for the Sandsjöbackatrail 30k. It's unclear to me how long it actually is. They call it 30k/20mi (as if those are the same...) and I thought it was closer to 34k based on the elevation profile. I think it's best to assume it runs a bit long, which means I'm going to want to get in at least one 25k run before then. Boston people?

Initial free session with Amir in the gym. It was supposed to be a Norwegian hour (45 min) but I was there for 75 min because we're both so chatty and excited. Signed up for a lot of personal training hours with him. It's going to be good.

In to work. It was apparently -4C (25 freedom degrees) this morning which would explain why my face was a bit cold. Would have liked to have had a buff for my face. That also would have kept the flying mud/dirty ice bits off of my face. I don't have fenders on my bike but I kind of want some now.

In to work, gingerly. My calves are quite sore from 15 urban km in orocs on Saturday.

It definitely feels like a Monday. Got two solid hours of sleep last night (#goodthinghescute) didn't want to rush Lukas to school so I got in to work a lot later than I wanted, especially considering I have to pick him up, too.
