Well, with everyone around sick with a cold I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. Kind of stupid not to get enough sleep on the weekend.

Sunday Feb 12

running 1:30:00 [1]
shoes: Asics Eagle Trail V
Beautiful day but went for an easy run instead of O. Felt kind of tired from the O yesterday. Skipped second workout kind of felt like I might be getting sick in the afternoon. initially just thought my allergies were giving me a hard time

Saturday Feb 11

strength 30:00 [2]
pilates class. Liz said she thought I was getting better:) Still there were a couple of exercises today that I simply wasn't strong enough to do... nothing like a rubber band and a big ball to make you feel like a total wimp
orienteering 30:00 [3] ***
shoes: Jalas Black-Red
~time in zone 3. tough on uphills with snow.
orienteering 1:00:00 [2]
shoes: Jalas Black-Red
same workout as above. nice to run in the forest. Of course it is always tougher than running on trails but even more difficult with the snow. Ran a course that somebody had designed as part of their level 2 officials- on Yukon College. 9.7km in 1:26 I thought was pretty good for not racing.

30 mins vis of Alta terrain while on the mill
strength 15:00 [1]
a "guest" pilates instructor. ended up being a lot more flexibility than the core strength that we usually do. it was more like a yoga class. I guess the extra stretching is good for me but I don't get to log that :-(
