Sunday Feb 12

running 1:30:00 [1]
shoes: Asics Eagle Trail V
Beautiful day but went for an easy run instead of O. Felt kind of tired from the O yesterday. Skipped second workout kind of felt like I might be getting sick in the afternoon. initially just thought my allergies were giving me a hard time

Saturday Feb 11

strength 30:00 [2]
pilates class. Liz said she thought I was getting better:) Still there were a couple of exercises today that I simply wasn't strong enough to do... nothing like a rubber band and a big ball to make you feel like a total wimp
orienteering 30:00 [3] ***
shoes: Jalas Black-Red
~time in zone 3. tough on uphills with snow.
orienteering 1:00:00 [2]
shoes: Jalas Black-Red
same workout as above. nice to run in the forest. Of course it is always tougher than running on trails but even more difficult with the snow. Ran a course that somebody had designed as part of their level 2 officials- on Yukon College. 9.7km in 1:26 I thought was pretty good for not racing.
stationary/road bike 1:00:00 [1]
easy ride while watching Jennifer Heil win moguls!!!!

Friday Feb 10

orienteering 1:05:00 [2]

other 30:00 [2]

joined in on a pickup soccer game in the gym at lunch. Was going to run on the mill but they were being used so this was a nice alternative. Tons of fun. and quite a bit of time with a really high HR
other 15:00 [3]
shoes: Mizuno
soccer-high intensity
orienteering 20:00 [3]
shoes: Jalas Black-Red
hanging ribbons for test run course. snow made it tough but not that bad in the forest.

Tuesday Feb 7

running 40:00 [1]
slept:4.0 shoes: Mizuno
lunchtime on the mill at work. skipped the intervals and the am workout because of the bad sleep.

30 mins vis of Alta terrain while on the mill
strength 15:00 [1]
a "guest" pilates instructor. ended up being a lot more flexibility than the core strength that we usually do. it was more like a yoga class. I guess the extra stretching is good for me but I don't get to log that :-(
x-c ski skate 1:15:00 [1]
ahr:109
very easy ski with Denise. fast conditions and warm weather with a skiff of new snow... aaaahhh
stationary/road bike 45:00 [1]
ahr:113
while watching tv. I think I will be doing a lot more of this when the Olympics are on.

Monday Feb 6

x-c ski skate 1:15:00 [1]
ahr:117 (rest day)
Couldn't drag my sorry ass out of bed this morning. Even this evening it was an iPod workout. Nice and fast when I got out there though.
