Road run 1:27:00 [3] 10.5 mi (8:17 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Trail Sensor (A)

Another run in falling snow on unplowed roads. Out/back Quigley a ways. Then Old Cutters, Northridge loop with short Red Devil to Indian Creek spur. Felt good if at times frustrated by conditions.

Very happy with the 60 mile week given the holidays and all the snow.

Elkorn run. Started at Sun Valley Mall parking lot. Out/back to Trail Creek; then Elkhorn to Morning Star (with Independence Crk); then Elkorn to Juniper Rd out/back then on to very north tip of Lane Ranch; then back home via Morningstar (but no extra climbs). 20/21 miles on a fair amount of loose snow. Snowed a lot of the time. A bit challenging.

Road run 1:08:00 [3] 9.0 mi (7:33 / mi)

Lane Ranch out/back to top of Independence Creek with Juniper Rd climb. Nice to get a bit of vertical after all the flat land on Hailey roads.

Note

PLUS: Short skate (25:00) in soft snow with dog.

Slow, largely because of cars and plows. Headlamp; 3 degrees.

Road run 45:52 [3] 6.0 mi (7:39 / mi)
shoes: IceBug MR3Bugrip

Headlamp run. Nine degrees starting to feel not so cold. Pace felt good considering the snowy, icy, and darkened roads.
