Road run 56:00 [3] 7.5 mi (7:28 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Trail Sensor (B)

Rotarun out/back Croy. Felt pretty good.

Note

Trying to not be concerned with the drop in hours/miles. Just doing what I think is best for the knee with Red Hot Saturday then 4 weeks until Coyote.

Trail run 57:30 [3] 7.0 mi (8:13 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-Trail Sensor (B)

Out/back Quigley. Pretty rough near pond and beyond. Felt pretty good after a slow warmup.

Note

Holy Crap! Made it into Wasatch Front. http://www.wasatch100.com/selected09.htm

Road run 3:00:00 [3] 21.0 mi (8:34 / mi) +1800ft 7:56 / mi
shoes: Asics Gel-Trail Sensor (A)

21+ miles Trail Creek/Elkhorn, with Independence Crk and Juniper Rd. Tried Parker but not plowed. Knee hurt at times but did OK. Ice and 2 aspirin, and it feels pretty good. One week until Red Hot; not quite sure what to do over the next 7 days.

Trail run 1:06:00 [3] 6.0 mi (11:00 / mi) +1200ft 9:15 / mi
shoes: Asics Gel-Trail Sensor (A)

First Carbonate attempt of the year. Slow going. From school to top, down spine, back to school.

Wednesday Feb 4, 2009 #

Trail run 55:48 [3] 7.0 mi (7:58 / mi)
shoes: Inov8 Roclite 320

Out/back Quigley after two days off -- one planned, one not. Legs felt spry; knee a bit tight. Snow compact and smooth; as good as it gets for winter.

Note
(rest day)

Planned day off to rest knee a bit before Red Hot and the final build up to C2M. Home with sick child, so worked out well.
