Saturday Feb 13 #

Hill walk 3:00:00 [3] 14.0 km (12:51 / km) +480m 10:59 / km
(injured)

Dunellen and the Slacks with Ty. Brutally cold and windy day, -3C at the foot and really rather windy on top. Ground frozen solid. Huge numbers of runners and walkers despite the conditions. Good outing and rather fun in a survival sort of way :-)
Should maybe have taken sticks, see what the knee thinks of all that descending.

Friday Feb 12 #

Mountain Biking 1:12:00 [3] 18.6 km (3:52 / km) +160m 3:43 / km
(injured)

Out WHW, checking for slippery ice in the gathering gloom. Loop on Carbeth Rd, fully headtorch up and return trying to remember where the dangerous patches were. Managed to stay rubber side down. Nothing froze this time :-)
Physio had a good poke at my knee, various tight bits but no outstanding horror found.

Wednesday Feb 10 #

Mountain Biking 1:20:00 [3] 20.2 km (3:58 / km) +180m 3:47 / km
(injured)

Out WHW small loop on Carbeth road and back WHW. Slightly late out on a cold day with hardpacked snow on the path, and only one part of scary ice. Probably colder than I thought as creeping freezing of front suspension, toes, front gears and then rear gears. Fortunately final failures were close enough to home.
Still injured, but the drugs make it feel better.

Monday Feb 8 #

Mountain Biking 1:02:00 [3] 14.2 km (4:22 / km) +160m 4:08 / km
(injured)

Dark, packed snow on paths, ice on backroads. Snowed when I was out. Cold and I was rather tentative and slow.

Sunday Feb 7 #

Mountain Biking 1:50:00 [3] 26.7 km (4:07 / km) +350m 3:52 / km
(injured)

WHW, Strathblane, Craigallean, Khyber Field, Reservoir loop and home. Cold and windy. Lots of people out despite the weather.
