Arrowhead 135 Unsupported. Started out with a very hard and fast trail, my tires were a little low on air so I had to stop at the first shelter to add some. Was in and out of Checkpoint #1 (35 miles) at 10:45 and in and out of chkpt #2 (70 miles) at 3:45. The trail went to hell at about mile 85 or 90 when some snowmobilers came by and wiped out the track and a good track never did develop for the rest of the race. It seemed that they may have gotten more snow further south on the trail making for softer conditions. Got to chkpt #3 at 23:30 and stayed about 20 minutes to melt some snow for drinking water and eat some, I only melted about a pint of water but should have melted a quart because I did run out. Really hit the wall at mile 131 and had to stop and drink the last ounce of water and try and eat, otherwise I had been riding with Jeremy K. Finished up at about 4:40 AM for a time of just under 22 hours.
