Squats, lunges, shoulder and arm stuff and lots of core. Painful.

Exactly same as last week except I didn't look at pace or time so did it soley on how I felt. Much easier this week had I known I was close to last weeks time I would have ran a bit faster. Cold almost completely gone now.

Had a bit of a sniff and cough before I started. Got going and felt ok, legs bit tired but just went out steady. Picked up the pace on the second lap, got a bad stitch and then suddenly got some breathing problems. Never really had this before - tight chest, shortness of breath. It was painful so I stopped.

In the lab, on the treadmill, incline set at 1%. I hate treadmills. Was aiming for around 45mins, felt bit too easy in the middle section then picked up the pace towards the end, sweaty.

Haries intervals. Realised just before I went out that I hadn't eaten enough - only a bagel and apple since breakfast - 3 x 1km, 2min rest, times: 3.37, 3.45, 3.49. Ran out of energy on the last.

Hills round the back of the seat, 30s, 1min, 1.5, 2, 2, 1.5, 1, 30s, recovery jog back down. Feeling really good, not that fast on the long reps but the hill was so steep.
