Morning run around Blackford and the Hermitage. Grey but no rain. Was meant to be a bit longer than this but I was tired and need to get work done. Muddy.

Cycle to and from the park run. Hilly.

Running 22:30 [4] 5.0 km (4:30 / km)

Stright from bike to the start of the run, no warm up time. Absolutely fozen from the cycle there, spent the first two km trying to warm my hands up and could hardly feel my legs. My feet never warmed up the whole way. Course was icy too. Lovely views once the mist lifted. Nice to be out.

Tough warm up, all the way up and over the seat.

Running hills 25:00 [5]

Hill session with Chloe and Hector round the back of the seat. 2 x (60s, 120s, 90s), recovery approx equal to rep as it was a jog back down. Really tough especially the 2mins, my legs were like lead. Finished with 6 x 30s, 30s rest, all the way back to the top. Completely ran out of energy on these and could hardly move on the last one. Good session.

Scottish Unis in Inverness. Went out a bit slow, I think if I was a bit more confident about my fitness I would have stuck with the pack just ahead of me and had a better race. On the second lap I worked hard up the hill and then cruised to the finish. Really enjoyed it despite not doing as well as I would have liked. Think I might start training again.

Easy session tonight as not feeling it - headache all day. 1 x 1.5km (90s recovery), 2 x 1km (3minutes recovery), times: 6.01, 3.55, 4.05. Tempo pace reps so not too painful. Didn't finish the last km, bleugh.
