Some nice intervals around the blue route in Culbin: pyramid of 30s, 60s, 90s, 120s, 150s with half recovery each time. Feeling slow.

Hector and I headed out on the road bikes. Firstly to Drynachan then on to Dulsie Bridge. Really great day for cycling, pretty knackered towards then end.

Drumnadrochit hill race at the Glenurquhart Highland Games. Felt good on some of the climb but not great. Was second lady to the top only 20s down, ran hard on the way down and on the road section towards the end but still didn't catch her. When I ran round the track at the finish they annouched me as first lady. Turns out the girl I was chasing went the wrong way.

Running race (800m) 2:30 [5]

Nairn Highland Games, 800m. Was given a handicap of 60m so only ran 740m. Only 3 in the race, one girl started at 60m with me and then someone was at 90m, 30m ahead of us. Got away from the girl I started with and passed the other at 300m, then just kept going as fast as I could to the finish line. Painful. No idea of the time but 1st place and nice cash prize.
