EUOC Christmas Weekend. The start was alot further than we thought it was so long run up the hill then I hung 4 controls for the club champs. Managed to get them all in the right place, phew!

Didn't fancy the orienteering so went for a run with Andrew Tullie so as not to get too cold hanging around. Feeling a little tired so only a short one.

Almost the same route as last Friday round the seat Missed out going over the crags though as the weather was pretty dire, lap of the meadows to finish instead. Ran hard up the first hill, legs feeling good after a couple days rest.

GUHH Christmas dinner last night. Didn't plan on drinking too much but the club decided to buy everyone drinks. I could have turned down the bottle of wine handed to me (and bottle of wine number two), but I didn't. Nice to be finished for Christmas.

Managed to drag myself out of bed and made it to core balls. Pretty much a rest day.

10min spin to warm up then normal circuits. Ruth, Jess and Megan all along today so it was nice and socialable. Lots of choice today so focused on core and upper body, giving my legs a rest. Getting lots of S&C done this week as I won't be down the gym for a couple of weeks and apparently this sort of thing is good for me even if it does make my body hurt.

Didn't fancy the 5k John had planned for tonight as I am doing one next week anyway and wanted to run at lunchtime. Intervals on my own, 1min, 2min, 3, 4, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, half recovery. Feeling relatively good, bit slow on some of the longer reps maybe as got a bit bored. Good to be out of the library.

Missed out most CV stations as legs need a rest after relatively high mileage last week. Focused on core and shoulders. Additional core after.
