Blue course at Darnaway. Took it very easy as didn't want to twist my ankle and legs a little tired. No huge mistakes but lots of little ones, could have been worse. Found it tough going through the terrain in places.

North District Cross Country League - Nairn. Really nice course, first bit on the beach followed by a nice route in Culbin. Very windy so quite tough to begin with, sheltered on the way back. Felt pretty good.

Intervals on grass slope below pollock roundabout. Two sets of: 4 x 30s (30s off), 3 x 60s (60s off), 2 x 30s (30s off), 8minute run between the two sets. 30s reps on the hill, 60s reps on the flat. Running in spikes, not max pace as race this weekend. Feeling pretty good. Now to get dolled up for the ball tonight.

Woke up, ate a banana, went for a run. Felt rubbish for the first 15minutes but after my legs woke up I felt awesome. It was even getting light as I finished.

After some breakfast headed to the gym. Thought I'd have to miss circuits as I had a meeting later so did some weights, circuits stuff (hamstring curls, lunges, squats etc) and core.

GUHH Intervals 5 x 700m every 5minutes, times: 2.34, 2.33, 2.34, 2.35, 2.38. Felt good to begin with, didn't feel that fast. Fairly consistent for the first 4 but felt really slow on the last one. Amy was there tonight, Yulia running well too, good to have someone to push me.
