Run (home via OTH summit) 1:01:52 [3] 11.2 km (5:31 / km)
shoes: Ugly Silver/Blue Adrenalines

Took it easy today. Although I did manage to get times for all my splits :)
Wrote them down on my leg. Just had to remember to record them all before I had a shower! Man it was getting cold and windy as were finishing. Hope this crappy weather uses itself up before the weekend.

Bike (spin class) 45:00 [4]
shoes: Bike: Merida Green Lightning

Good class. Had a new instructor (Maria) today. She seems pretty good.

Bike warm up/down (home from work) 30:00 [3]
shoes: Bike: Merida Green Lightning

Mountainbike race (O SS Auckland Domain) 9:13 [3] ** 1.5 km (9.8 kph)
shoes: Bike: Merida Green Lightning

Biked course 4 for fun. Ian still bet me though! Takes to long to clip in out and hard to read a map while biking!

Run intervals (home via OTH summit) 55:09 [5] 11.2 km (4:55 / km)
shoes: Ugly Silver/Blue Adrenalines

My aim for this run was to get under an hour. Pretty happy with it in the end, it was quite comfortable. K got under an hour too :) I would call this more interval type training since I ran ahead and then waited for K at various points rather than leave her in the distance. I stopped my watch while I was waiting and did the occasional push-up. Most of the run was a 4 intensity I'd say but the run to the summit was definitely a 5 I really pushed myself to get up there. Thinking back I should have timed a separate split for that.... Next time I guess! Took me 17:05 to Mt Eden.

Note
(rest day)

Went to Omaha beach for a BBQ and some beach cricket with the touch team. Had a fun day :) Great fun with Nick's water canon which I borrowed.

Mountainbike (Woodhill) 1:55:35 [2] 22.4 km (11.6 kph) +350m
shoes: Bike: Merida Green Lightning

I can give fairly accurate reading when I go mountainbiking now since I have my cycle computer!!! YEAH. I also met another guy while biking out there who was able to give me the climb estimate :)
It was a nice bike out there today. Probably didn't push as hard as I was planning but had a nice long steady ride. Ended up biking with this random guy for a couple hours since he was heading the same way and seemed to like the idea of some company. Eventually we found Katie at the playground and she came with us. However we stopped every now and then to make sure she hadn't been gobbled up by the evil forest monsters.
Only fell once today. And it was a lame fall. Tried to corner in some soft sand so just slid out. Nice soft landing anyway.

Orienteering race (SS - Ambury park night) 57:58 [2] 3.0 km (19:19 / km)
shoes: Asics Offroaders

Just walked this one. My navigation was pretty good. Screwed up on one control were we ended up at at another one close by coz i got a bit confused over some contours. Also I hate mosquitos.

Bike intervals (Spin class) 45:00 [5]
shoes: Bike: Merida Green Lightning

Spin with Lincoln. Good class. I have noticed that I struggle way more on the sprint sections than the hill sections. Think I'm getting a bit better at setting up my bike. Might need to get some spare bike shorts to wear though coz I was still a little uncomfortable at the end. Very thankful for the spa afterwards!!

Gym (core) 10:00 [3]
