Run (home via manukau) 46:41 [3] 9.14 km (5:06 / km)
shoes: Ugly Silver/Blue Adrenalines

Did it pretty fast today. However - I didn't run up Myers park as it was too late and dark so i ran straight up queen st instead i have a feeling that shortened the distance a bit. Certainly felt a bit easier too! since I dont have to climb all those stairs! Man it was cold and wet today though - hope I dont get ill from it.

Gym (mainly lower) 1:00:00 [2]

Dunno, wasn't really into it today, hence the 2 intensity.

Ice Skating 2:00:00 [2]
shoes: Easton Ultralites

Spent some time in the intermediate class today since they were doing a couple new things. Even tried some ice dancing moves :) Kinda boring in the advanced class if they keep doing stuff you need figure skates for! Still, always good fun though. Laura and that European ballet girl weren't there today though.

Gym (upper and core) 1:00:00 [3]

gym was busy. dont you find it annoying when you want the 8kg weights but there's none left?! or the medium size swiss ball but they're all being used. Patience is a virtue i suppose. Alternatively you are forced to mix up your equipment for different sizes/weights :)

Bike (home from gym) 20:00 [3] 6.0 km (18.0 kph)
shoes: Bike: Blue Commuter

Touch (win vs enemy) 30:00 [2]
shoes: Asics Lethal Gels

Good game. Less subs today. It was drizzling and cold the whole game which made it a bit exciting. I was wearing my polyprop top. Oh, and I was wearing my buff too! kept my head and ears warm - wonderful piece of kit that one.

Run (home via manukau) 50:11 [3] 9.14 km (5:29 / km)
shoes: Ugly Silver/Blue Adrenalines

Ran home with K. Good run. Not super fast but I felt really fresh. And only 15 seconds or so slower than last time.

Orienteering race (Plantation - Orange Long) 53:52 [3] *** 4.29 km (12:33 / km)
11c shoes: Asics Offroaders

Did pretty well. Its a cool map. Real dense forest, but as expected fairly clear underfoot. Did most of it pretty well. Definitely helped to have fences on the map. Tried to use Attackpoints more, and slow down once I got to them and that definitely seemed to help.

Oh and check it out, I WON my course!! YAY my first victory.
Jono wins!!!

Orienteering (Plantation - Yellow) 19:20 [3] ** 2.47 km (7:50 / km)
10c shoes: Asics Offroaders

Just raced around the kiddies yellow course while I was waiting for everyone else. Pretty easy, just follow fences and tracks! :)

Check it out, my second victory. However this one must be considered slightly less impressive since it was accomplished against mainly 12 year old kids.... Although I did win by 8 minutes....

I LOVE all the colours on my log today. So pretty! Not very often I pack such a variety of activities into a single week...

Oh yeah and people telling me I should try a red sometime soon. Sounds like a good plan, would prefer to have fences though (they save me a lot hehe)

Gym (upper and core) 40:00 [3]

Had to cut things a bit short (i.e. 2 sets instead of 3) since we were a bit pushed for time to fit in the spa plus bike to and from the gym!!

Bike (to/from gym) 55:00 [2] 12.0 km (13.1 kph)
shoes: Bike: Blue Commuter

Note: I've decided it might be more interesting to log the distance of the bike even tho the box says shoes... I'm estimating its about 6km to the gym...

Misc (Hot Spa) 10:00 [0]

teehee... Wish it was longer though!!
