Cycling race (Trailquest) 3:00:00 [3] 30.0 km (6:00 / km) +580m 5:28 / km

3 hour Trailquest from Blanchland. Being a local I had no problems finding the controls but my MTBing was hardly inspiring. Mixed effort but averaging around 3.

Route taken: http://www.routiki.com/#plink-776

Cycling 20:00 [4] 2.75 mi (7:16 / mi)

Uphill all the way home on the road, harder than the Trailquest!

Offroad Running 41:00 [3] 4.5 mi (9:07 / mi) +110m 8:28 / mi
shoes: NB 782 2

Run to Rookhope via Packlet's Gate, track and down the incline. Met Elfie who'd cycled from Stanhope for a couple of pints and a meal in the Rookhope Inn. 110m of climb but 210m of descent!

Carrying full event sack with change of clothes, shoes and towel.

Now called CS6

Offroad Running 59:30 [3] 6.5 mi (9:09 / mi) +160m 8:30 / mi
shoes: NB 782 2

Bolt's Law loop...must map this one and give it a name. Mixed weather between glorious sunshine and monsoon rain, with a gale force wind thrown in for good measure. Nice to have water back in all the puddles.

Now mapped, this direction CS5.

Offroad Running 26:34 [2] 2.75 mi (9:40 / mi) +10m 9:33 / mi
shoes: NB 782 2

Light jog down to Blanchland Show. I had planned to run back but wussed out and got a lift instead.

10m of climb...hardly worth it as there was 200m of descent.
