Legs feeling pretty heavy. Also really hot! Bit of tourist dodging to get through gates/along the boardwalk

Lovely day so decided I wanted to get a bit further out of town and go down to Granchester. Ran from Mem as it's a bit too far from Colony in my current state. Probably could have gone a bit further, but good to have something to build up to. Finishing along Queens' Road actually felt like I was striding out nicely.

Finally measured my jog round JG/MC. Was fairly quick today as the sun when I started quickly became a rather cold downpour.

Orienteering 53:51 [3] 7.9 km (6:49 / km)

Took 5 minutes to get about 200m to number 1... but was better from there! Really nice forest, nice to do some orienteering. Basically compass work, some really satisfyingly accurate bearings.

Not feeling incredibly sprightly, but not too bad.
Did a teensy bit of fartlek on the way back along the river. Not recovering so well. Rather unfit at the moment, but the beauty of that is that if I train I might actually see a noticeable improvement!
