My GOODNESS this was a hard run. Quads were dying from all the squats I did in the weights room today, and generally just tiiiired. Felt a little iffy in the shins near the beginning. Lots of stretching tonight and might book in for physio.
Still damn slow compared to the good old days, BUT i shaved 5 seconds off my per minute time this week, so that's dandy!!
Ran to timeball and back (usual route)

Such an awesome race! Forest run, hill run, mudslide, crawl under barbed wire, wading through waist deep muddy water - I was so frickin' cold though, my legs felt like they were getting pins stabbed into them repeatedly and when I did the crawl under barbed wire it took my breath away it was so cold. A damn good time though. And I came fourth for women under 45! Pretty damn good for someone who hasn't been training much!

15 modified pull ups, 15 thrusters 5kg, 12 modified pull ups, 12 thrusters 5kg, 9 modified pull ups, 9 thrusters 5kg. Need to work on making sure I pull my whole chest towards the bar, the whole way up!

GENIUS! I scored the first goal! The guys on the other team looked very shocked. Still lost, but onl 4-6 - all thanks to the Al Pacino Inch by Inch speech I gave to the team before the game haha, and Laurissas advice to MARK SOMEONE! Good old sam took one for the team and got his finger dislocated saving a goal- Yeayuh!
