Big guesstimate for the km. Stupid that the track isn't marked on MapMyRun! Ran to reservoir and back, and ran up our hill and up drummond on the way home. Poured with rain the whole time!

Bit slow but glad I got out. Had planned for a short run but hadn't realised how far this route actually was. Ran up St Daves, Left onto Cumby, Right onto Dunda past Logan Park, left at Stadium up Ravensbourne road, turned down to coastal path after Adderley Terrace, did the measured kilometre there (4:40) then turned around and came back coastal path, went back around Logan, straight on Dundas til George then turned left and came up home. Got the fright of my life going back past Logan, Sam overtook me and said hi, but I'd been so focused I didn't hear him til he was right next to me.
Started taking ibuprofen today to prevent chronic inflammation of my ankle.
Let's hope it works.

Had to stop running for a few days because on Friday my ankle was hugely swollen and very sore. Still been quite stiff and sore, and ROM has decreased a lot. Hopefully seeing physio tomorrow, otherwise Tues. Even on Friday he tried a lot of mobilising exercises and the ROM didn't return as it usually does. In saying that, the run just now didn't hurt it, and I'd originally only been going to run 2km but decided I could handle a nice hill like Pacific Street.

Really enjoyed that run! Nothing hurt and I felt.. light. Twas dandy. Ran up Drivers road, Up Balcewen to the Helensburgh and main road intersection and back, then ran as fast as I could up Drivers Road to highgate and back again.

Soooo slow. Left ankle hurt most of run except the last 3 or so k. Right ankle didn't hurt at all. Think I need to do some serious stretching and massage on the shins. Very cold, need to get faster.

I wish I could get an accurate mapping of my run to the reservoir. Felt VERY slow. Left ankle hurt, actually, and front of ankle like it does before shin splints... Lots of massage before bed, methinks. Right ankle hurt a little coming down from reservoir, but eased off, think it was just cause of the uneven ground.
