Glute got weirdly angry. Tried to do a very easy RDL with 2 x 5kg but got progressively worse over only 4 reps in the glute. Loosened up again by the end and weighted split squats actually went pretty well with 2x14kg DBs. Calf raises still feels like R foot just has no power, balance or range

Feeling a bit frustrated because in some sense the leg is doing better, in some sense worse. Could sleep on my back last night and think it may have been even better than sleeping on my stomach. Decided to try some running today

Pretty terrible night. Sleeping in the couch with Max’s parents here and it’s just too hard to sleep on my stomach, so leg pain woke me up at 3:30am. So ended up going to the gym for a quick session before work. Did make the leg feel better

Big upper body session but first lower body lifts since flare. Did split squats 3 x 5 ea at BW, 20kg and 30kg. Supersetted with chins which maybe wasn’t the best idea given the bracing, right deep glute quite sore after, but calmed down really fast.

Tried 3 sets 10 each one legged calf raises. L fine and springy, R tiring perhaps around rep 5. So definitely not at the 80% that Arthur would like yet for running
