First time deadlifting from the floor. Still B stance and only 40kg, but went pretty well. Chins also provoked pain less, and split squats. Did circuit of pull down, split squat, and chins.

Leg felt quite bad after chins, but went well on trap bar dead’s. will increase next time. First set of split squats right after chins felt terrible with right foot forward, but was amazing how much better it felt already on second set. Seems to be a lot of truth to this dynamic disc theory

Woke up 5:40am with pain. Wasn’t a great weekend for pain when still. Feel like that’s worsened a bit but the pain is subsiding super fast when moving, and the lack of pain while doing squats and deads etc is still great

Unfortunately woke up quite early and was in pain and couldn't get comfy. Also woke up at 4am needing a wee walk around the house again. It's like sleeping on my front is no longer comfortable, but sleeping on my back is only comfortable for so long. So went to the gym. Felt much better by the end

Was pretty stoked because managed b-stance trap bar dead lifts. Only 4 x 5 at 40kg, only with left side weighted, but back was totally fine. Just the nerve in the right leg is a bit sensitive, but didn't feel like it got overly annoyed.

Goblet squats with 10kg were absolutely fine, so might even try barbell front squats later this week. DB Split squats with 2 x 15kg actually a bit heavy.

DB one armed rows on bench were pretty sensitive on the right side, still have to put the right knee on the bench, so it becomes quite core heavy.

Overall, back and leg felt really good after this wee double session. But I do feel totally exhausted today (two days of not great sleep), and keep wondering if I'm on the verge of getting sick. Almost napped on the couch
