Running warm up/down 40:00 [1]

Orienteering tempo 43:00 [3]

8.3 km orienteering race on campus. Was very motivated, didn't sleep well and woke up early. :-)
Managed to stay concentrated and push as much as I could most of the race. Made some mistakes in the technical parts in the beginning. Running went pretty easy. Wonder how much a winter of training can lower my time on a course like this?
Great course, by the way. And a good lunch/dinner at Mahony & Son afterwards. Awesome!

Running long 1:05:00 [1]

My hamstrings felt good when I woke up in the morning, so no cross training today.

Recovery run in Pacific Spirit and Camosun Park. Was planning to run a short o course that I found on the web, but after 3 controls I realized that the forest was a bit too thick for a recovery run.

Otherwise, I felt surprisingly good :-)

Orienteering long 50:00 [2]

100 control course in Park Vanier. Really fun :-) Orienteering went mostly very well.

Have a strain in my hamstring, and that made life a little bit sad in the end, so tomorrow it's time for cross training!

Running long 43:00 [2]

Running long 30:00 [3]

Club run in Pacific Spirit. Rainy and pretty dark, which made the trail running pretty technical! Enjoyed it :-)

A little bit stiff after yesterday, and on the end I got a small strain in my hamstring (or maybe I got it yesterday? I dont't know..).

Running warm up/down 30:00 [1]

Orienteering tempo 50:00 [4]

WET, Byrne's creek.

Faen*... I really have to calm down and be patient when I orienteer. Started of with a big mistake, and made too many small ones after that. The running went very well on the other hand. Felt fine and it went pretty fast. Need to do some orienteering training on my own without competition in order to drill the basics.

Took the Skytrain for the first time as well, and both the course and map were very interesting.

(rest day)

Day off! Really need it now. Trying to study for tomorrows midterms, and also make some training plans for the winter.

Running long 1:00:00 [1]

Ran with John, Louise and Thomas from the bottom of Grouse Grind following some trails along the hillside. Felt good.
