I WON a split!! AND I beat some people, AND I had a great time out in the woods!
There were almost 200 starts, handled admirably by Team Amy, Tori and Valerie. Thanks also to the Campbell family for accepting the results display equipment at 7:30 this morning, and getting it deployed at the event.
Oh, and someone wrote this in their log:
These 5 QOC winter events have been my lifeline during an otherwise heavy emotional time. I think that Quantico has the best local events that I have seen in the US. A meet almost every week even in the winter. Great forest venues, good maps, terrific course setting, superb automated organization. Not to mention the many happy, friendly people. I am thankful.
So, I initially said - It was a good day. After reading that, I am upgrading. It was a VERY good day!
