Running late was good motivation to swim the best time of the new year. That and wearing the super swim cap for less drag in the water. My hair is an inch long again, so it was slowing me down... ;-)

Two minutes faster than last week. Got done two minutes before the pool closed.

Prince William - Mawavi (fire) Road, South Valley Trail (mostly gnarly goat like trail), High Meadows Trail (nice single track), then Scenic Drive (paved). Ran a bit here and there. Beautiful day to be out. Glad that I decided that designing my own adventure was the right thing for me.

Treadmill - Started out jogging around 3.6 mph and increased .1 every minute up to 5 mph, then back to 4.3-4, when I switched to walking for last five minutes. Felt pretty good.

Note

A Lailah day. She was a little under the weather, so she didn't want to swim or go to story time, but she did help get the recycling and trash out, the clothes folded (my underwear are now neatly rolled), and the bed made, among other things. She finally agreed to leave the house to have lunch with Roger, where I discovered that I was a failure at ordering at chipotle. Regardless, a very good day, one for the memory book, even if I end up getting sick. :)

Back and forth, back and forth. May have overdone it because my right hamstring is sore today (Friday) as I right this.
