Biking 39:10 [1] 6.73 mi (5:49 / mi) +13m 5:47 / mi
weight:189lbs

Since the bike was in the car anyway, I decided to drive down to Shirlington and park, thus avoiding the return trip up the hill. From there I biked to DC for the last summer series event, hosted by Karla and Gary.

And, back to the car...I was toasted! Thank goodness I did not have to ride up the hill!

Mowing/Yard 10:00 [0]

Mowing, then spreading different stuff.

In honor of it being corn maze day, I let the corn live.

Walking 30:00 [1]

An anger abatement walk. It was a good move, and I was able to let go of the hurt by the time I got back, and I got my 30 minutes in for the day at the same time.

Biking 30:00 [1]
weight:188lbs

A lovely late summer day with just a little bit of wind in front of the storm coming up the east coast. Rode around the back roads from the office, enjoying the fresh air.

Sinus pain still present, but sore throat is gone, and I got a bit of sleep last night, or at least wasn't anxious when I was awake, like the night before.

Swimming 30:00 [1]
weight:188lbs

If the calendar wasn't proof enough, then the fact that my allergies have reared their ugly head says it is September 1, that's for sure. Sore throat, and with a messed up head and tight chest, I didn't go to work, and had to cancel a dental cleaning as well.

Not the way I wanted to start the month. I wasn't too happy with my June and August efforts, though July was better. So, I don't want to do the usual September crash, where I am too often too stressed and/or depressed to exercise. Will attempt a September 30/30...30 minutes of easy exercise per day, not stressing about the quality, but taking the time to back away from everything this September holds.

Tried the neti pot, and then decided that maybe a swim (the biggest neti pot available) would help. I think it did.
