Rainy day, but not enough for Pepper to embrace the rain jacket. Off soon after this photo...I think I will leave it at the dog park with a sign that says "Free to good home, dog not included."
We warmed up with a loop down to the marina and back with Boomer, and his people, Laura and Aaron.
Then some working the epunch computer while waiting for Amy to return...
Took the opportunity to size up the other competition on Yellow B(eagle). HoHum. That's Pepper in the back, and Barney and Boomer clamoring for some hints on how to best get around the course.
Pepper really wanted to win today. OK, it was I who wanted to take the Yellow Beagling crown. The field was made more equal with my more youthful competitors being handicapped by a one year child on the back, and by a beagle intent on, well, beagling.
So, Pepper for the win. WooHoo!
Oh, as for how the course went, it was so much fun. Pepper is quite the fine orienteer. Just loves to be in the woods and going forward. So much fun for both of us.
