Running (ITW) 41:21 [4] 5.57 mi (7:25 / mi)

So the reason for lack of activity is me being a bit of eejit. Anyhow I now have a locker key back for work so I can access my wash stuff (original key lost during White Rose).

Thought if I am going to do a half marathon best do some half marathon training, eg on flat stuff.

So ran in along the canal. Steady in not fast but a good start.

Running (HFW - ouch) 28:42 [4] 3.56 mi (8:04 / mi)

Met Ben & Dwayne, friends from Tod Harriers, for a run home from work. All going well, innuendo galore. Then dropped onto the canal towpath it felt like I was cramping up, no twinges or anything giving advances notice, 3 steps later a large knot on my muscle I had to hobble out to get the bus home.

Arriving home, hoping to get some sympathy from Sarah, I find her hobbling after doing the same thing on her run, although she was 20 minutes out on the moor, no buses nearby. Must be sympathy pain I had.
