Finally made it down to my first club session! Sessionwas 5x1km with 200m recov... I did 5x800s... that was tough enough for me first time round... think the first couple were around the 4:20 mark... slowed up in the 4th bit of a finishing wind in the last! lots of niggles in the legs and now lathering tiger balm on a tender Achilles... gotta manage work so I can get some structured training going and start practising what I preach at work about injury prevention!!

Really nice afternoon jog out with Ais from Virgin up through eccalsal woods then across and down the porter valley and back up and over to Virgin! Stood on the power plate for 2 mins after as I have no time to stretch before work and Aislinn asking what it was brought to my attention that I've never tried it... just made me feel sea sick

Took run group down to endcliffe tonight and did 5 x 2/1min intervals then jog back over to Virgin to teach circuits! Really sore in my shins atm, really struggling in that spot and struggling to fit in stretching and tooling to try loosen those areas up a bit
