running long (9 edges) 3:39:10 [3] 33.0 km (6:38 / km) +875m 5:52 / km
ahr:162 max:194 rhr:73 slept:7.0 shoes: Inov8 Roclite

Amazing 9 edges run.. loved every second (even though I ran out of steam and did find the last 7 tough).
Gorgeous day for it - paying for that with some bad burns now!
Bit dubious about all these edges... I feel there were 6

Started at fairholms and headed up onto Derwent - I took it real slow (even for me) knowing what was ahead and Glen was struggling a bit up there anyway so hung back with him! From there onto Howden where we picked up none other then Tommy H, over to stannage, burbage, rest stop (PB&J sandwich time) at the fox house where we then left Glen and Tommy, through longshaw (past the Everest challenge cyclist - who goes ‘oh hello you’re from the gym right’) onto froggatt, Curbar, Baslow, one starting with G? And bottom edge of Birchens down to Robin Hood!
So glad Ais and I did get to tick this one off before she left and had some great company all the way round with Dan and Mellor!!

Note
rhr:66 slept:9.0 (rest day)

Unintentional day off... wanted to go to parkrun but didn’t wake up in time and needed the sleep so decided that was more important... then faffed all day when I should have been doing work so just got too late

Easy one... we were all feeling pretty smashed today! Props to Neill for being back out again today after running 45miles of the west highland way as part of a support team on the weekend! He amazes me!

ahr:184 max:204 shoes: Inov8 Roclite

First fell race I've actually really enjoyed and felt reasonably good running!
Still walked more of the hills then I would like, still got a stitch on all downhills (but could run through it) but felt comfortable in the legs and (mostly) in the lungs all the way round. Not a very deep field but think I came 5th woman according to Ais.... even got in a little sprint finish victory and all.

Was a super stunning night out in the peaks, so despite it being a real peg from work and having to eat right before in the car I was super glad I went.... moon was low and big and just something else against the sunset!

Chilled out session with tent... made him do map memory and some leg planning under pressure with me as I wasn’t really feeling sprintervals... was good to do it with someone else because it did open my eyes to a few things I hadn’t noticed before on an area that I just know too well now... sooo hot, sooo sweaty
Legs tired but less niggly
