Run 1:26:39 [3] 15.07 km (5:45 / km)
shoes: Adistar Ride #2

Tough run again. Ran along the greenbelt trails and then up towards the shooting range. The hills nearly killed me. Hamstring still sore and am ridiculously tired or perhaps deconditoned. Although i hope it's the first!

Run 47:49 [3] 8.02 km (5:58 / km)
shoes: Adistar Ride #2

Necessary mental health run just to get out there and get some fresh air. Did 3 strides to remind my body what a faster pace was.

Swim 30:00 [3] 1.0 km (30:00 / km)

First open water swim of the season. Arms felt tight in the wetsuit. I am so glad we could practice prior to the race.

Note

Day Off, sore hamstring and just not getting any better. Not ideal time this close to the race but i guess it never truly is!

Swim 1:00:00 [3] 1.9 km (31:35 / km)

Bad swim tonight. Just overworked and overtrained i think. Our new coach wasn't so supportive. She asked me how i could be overtrained. I nearly blew up at her.

Run 44:09 [3] 7.01 km (6:18 / km)
shoes: Adistar Ride #2

Easy run to stretch out. Lots of stopping of course for Logan (not because i needed it, ha!). Unfortunately my hamstring really hurt this morning. It felt so good yesterday, so not sure why it is so sore today. :(

Road Biking 3:47:29 [3] 99.55 km (2:17 / km)

Century Ride from Armstrong to Salmon Arm on the backroads and back. Great ride but Atsuko has some bike difficulties. It was a good learning experience for me to take part of the repairs. Good group from Revy: Doris and Sara did the 56 km ride (a great first long distance ride for them) and then Atsuko, Liz, and I did the 100 km (or 450 m shy, we stopped at the car and not the starting point).
