Cross Country skiing 1:15:00 [3] 12.5 km (6:00 / km)

Warm up on roadway ramble followed by a tough 9 km race on skate skis. The conditions were challenging and the first 3/4 of the race were particularly painful. The last 1/4 of the race the conditions improved and my overall feeling was that i enjoyed it. Funny how that works. Did a cool down on roadway ramble away after. Bart did great. 1st place finisher. I'm so proud!

Tough swim tonight. Felt really tired. Couldn't decend 1-3 on the last 6 100 m. Did only 5 and swam pretty much at the same intensity at the end.

Slow ski at MacPherson due to new snow on the trails. Still nice to get out.

Back Country skiing 3:30:00 [3] +700m

Tour off the resort. Challenging traverse into Greely Creek. Did 2 laps. Today was a learning experience trying to get used to my new boots. Can't ski then in powder in ski mode. Walk mode works best. Quite a long way out back to the car which is a bit of a downside to tour on the resort. I miss the Gorge.
