Started on the greenbelt trail, then over the CPR, and part of 5 km loop, then over to Macpherson. Trails are slowly drying out.

Nice day for a race. Found the first three laps to be the hardest. The fourth wasn't too bad but my legs felt toast. Hoped to do 6 laps but had to stop after 5. Overall was faster than last year by a little so that is overall positive. I enjoyed the day but found all the faster riders a bit frustrating. Spent a lot of time on the side of the trail waiting for people to go by. I couldn't believe where some people pushed past me. Some seemed more desparate than last year.
