Adventure Race 7:04:00 [3]

MOMAR. Tough paddle. Guess we should have practiced. Mentally it was depressing to be at the back of the pack. We were pretty stocked to get onto our bikes but were challenged on our bikes due to really muddy and slippery conditions. I thank heavens had changed my front tire to a better tire but the back tire was so slippery. Sadly i was feeling pretty good about my biking despite my slow speed. But the race really rocked my nerves. In 10 mins period on the single track I endoed twice and then got pinned under my bike. Things improved after that though. Had 2 really successful orienteering sections and a good trek. Overall a good day but needed some more biking to redeem my fears.

Spinning 50:00 [3]

Super tired after last nights race. Plus have to get to the hospital for rounds so had to cut the workout short. Easy recovery spin.

First toonie race of the season. Did the loop in 1:13. Felt reasonable. Quarry was very slippery and i ran my bike a lot. Biked home after in the rain.

Run 37:00 [3]

Easy run. Painful since i haven't been running regularly. But just felt like getting out on the trails this morning.

Really tough swim tonight.

Mtn Biking 1:40:00 [3]

Focus on technique. Spent the time on CPR trails so Bart could come while he was on call with the resident. Did some areas three times, it was good actually because i was more willing to ride certain things the more time I did things.
