Last of toonie race. 15 min warmup and then 1:20 race. Pretty dreary and dark race esp at the end but goot course. As always lots of up.

Early morning swim with Atsuko as the coach wasn't going to be on deck tonight. Had the workout though for tonight. Boy was it tough.

Easy pedal with Bart setting up the race course for tomorrow. Have decided the course posted is going to be too long.

Have plans for the Victoria Half Marathon with my parents. Decided better get out for a long one. Spent the first bit on road which was super hot. Then Atsuko and I hit the trails which then became walk and run depending on how steep. Surprised how comfy i felt after an hour. Plus i did the full 5 km loops without stopping at the end. Amazing what a good warmup does for me on that loop.
