Day 2 in Revy. Braved some wet muddy conditions. Had a great ride. But what a muddy mess!!! Finished the day off with some shopping and a great dinner out at the Woolsey Creek Cafe.
Lovely start to the women's ride weekend with my friends from Cranbrook in Golden. Started on CBT trail and climbed up to the Moonraker trail head. Great ride. Even a bear encounter.
20 mins along the greenbelt trails with Logan. He was trailing behind a bit so took him home then headed off and ran the CPR trails from left to right. Longer run for me but boosted my confidence that i can do it. Just not sure how good it will feel after a swim and a bike. But i figure i'll just have to suck it up!
Tough swim tonight. Bart is getting so fast these days it's unreal. I'm getting jelous of his improved speed. I feel like i'm being left behind. :( Although i know over the last 1.5 years i've gotten faster too.
Hike up to ski jump with Bart and Logan and then around the 2 km loop. Quads were a mess on the decent. Not sure why. Didn't do anything yesterday to deserve the discomfort.

Big anaerobic workout tonight. Followed by 800 m cool down. Was good to swim 800 m straight. Need to do that a few more times in the next few weeks.
Training ride at Ellison park. Did 2 laps of the X-terra mountain bike loop and then rode the running loop to check it out as well. Should be a really fun bike course.
