Road Biking 3:15:00 [3] 82.0 km (2:23 / km)

Day 2 of the women's ride. Rode from Halcyon to New Denver. Great group of women to ride with. Got new shoes and cleats and had really terrible right knee pain. Made some adjustments but just couldn't seem to get it right. Was cycling one legged into New Denver.

Yoga 1:00:00 [3]

Great yoga session today in the upper floor of the Domes.

Road Biking 1:20:00 [3] 35.0 km (2:17 / km)

First day of the girls ride from Nakusp to Halcyon Hot Springs. Initially was disappointed in a shorter ride but was so tired it was the perfect length.

Yoga 45:00 [3]

The most painful Yin yoga. I've never done yin but you had to hold the poses for too long for my liking. But the view out of the studio was spectacular.

Mtn Biking 2:45:00 [3] 33.0 km (5:00 / km)

Salty Dog. Did it this year as a team. We managed 6 laps total. Could have done a 7th but we decided to end of a good note. Overall less intense than doing it solo but each lap was more intense because i pushed it harder. Rode faster laps than last year at around 54 minutes. Not sure it can really be compared since last year i rode it solo. Felt pretty good on the climbs thanks to Italy. But pretty crappy and not comfortable on the decent. Trails were really dry and loose in sessions. But how can you complain about super dry trails in mid-May. You just can't. Atsuko and I have decided we are done this race for a while. Seemed like the consensus between Atsuko, Danny, Myra, and myself was that the faster crew were less kind this year about passing. Overall a good day. Glad it's over. Wish we hadn't packed our return weekend so full of education and a race. I'm dying for a day at home.
